As an archaeologist, I often find myself immersed in the rich flavors and textures of ancient cultures, but my recent stay at the Princess d'An Nam Resort & Spa offered a modern culinary twist that I cannot ignore. Nestled in Binh Thuan Province, the drive here was a visual treat-towering Ta Cau peering over lush dragon fruit plantations. Dining at the hotel was captivating. The restaurant specializes in an array of Vietnamese cuisine complemented by fresh seafood, showcasing local flavors that drew me in. I particularly enjoyed the seafood curry; it was well-executed but could have benefitted from more spices to elevate its depth. Breakfast left much to be desired; the spread was relatively basic compared to the vibrant local fare available during lunch and dinner. The ambiance was pleasant for beachfront dining, with a lovely view of the tranquil waves-a serene setup for relaxing meals. In summary, while the culinary experience at Princess d'An Nam is inviting, even the most seasoned food enthusiasts might seek a wider variety in the breakfast offerings. A refreshing getaway nonetheless!
